| William James Bastian was born August 16, 1900, in Harcourt, Kent County, New Brunswick. He died September 20, 1983, in Bathurst Hospital, Bathurst, N.B. He was a single man but had a son with Julie Gallant. Bill, as he was called by his friends, was a WWII Veteran Member of the Royal Canadian Legion, in Bathurst, N.B. William was a carpenter by trade.
Services for William were held at the First United Church September 23, 1983 at 2:30 p.m. The Officiating Clergy was Rev. R MacKenzie. Musical Selections: The Lord's My Shepherd and Abide With Me. Burial was at Highland View Cemetery, Bridge St. Bathurst, N.B. |
